Acts of Power

Categories :

I’ve started to look over my notes and writings on acts of power versus acts of no power.  My reason for doing this is that I am always looking for wise and health conscious readers who are eagerly seeking resources that will improve their health and well being.

Wisdom and Power are Ways of Being

Power is the ability to produce your desired result. It does not matter whether the result one wants is good health, wealth, or anything else in life. Power is also the ability to hold a position in spite of all opposition. Having these abilities are so important to arriving at a place called self-hood. When one arrives at self-hood, he or she thinks, acts, and functions as an unbound individual. He or she is not part of the common herd and is able to manifest his or her desires and goals.

An essential element of power is wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to foresee the consequences of one’s actions. Discipline is the ability to abstain from those actions that will cause unwanted consequences.  These abilities of having foresight and discipline are very important habits to cultivate. Conversely, hindsight is painful and costly to health and wealth as well as to prosperity and love.

Lack of Knowledge Destroys Power

No one knows everything. There are some, though,  who desire to build their knowledge throughout their lifetime. Equally so, there are those who don’t want to know as well as those who feel powerless. They experience very few acts of power or acts of no power. These acts falls into the category of “victim.” What are some actions of individuals with little or no personal power?

  • They provoke others
  • They complain, blame, manipulate, invalidate, and lie to others to get what they want.
  • They wait and hope
  • They let themselves be provoked. They are often attacked, insulted, and offended.
  • They allow avoidable negative events in their lives.
  • They do not stand up to others to stop negative actions and mistreatment.
  • They depend on others for their economic security.

People who think that they have no power will act and function as victims. Their lives are full of others making the laws of their behaviors and attitudes.

Acts of Power

One way to “be” powerful is to look in the direction of where you want to be. Then chart a course from where you are to your intended destination. For example, if you are currently drinking tap or bottled water,  moving in the direction of drinking pure, uncontaminated living water is an act of power. It is a commitment to experience the purity of your emotions and personal well-being.
